Paddling Summer Camps in Sturgeon County
We currently offer 1-week and 2-week options for our summer day camp program that operates at Cardiff Lake in Sturgeon County, just 15 minutes north of St. Albert!
1-Week Program: Rainbow Paddle (ages 8-14)

1-week summer day camps filled with fun and adventure where kids explore the lake with qualified instructors

Kids learn about four main aspects of recreational paddling sports: safety, technique, sports culture, and appreciation of the environment.

Paddlers are introduced to sprint paddling, dragon boat and many fun off-water games and activities.
2-Week Program: Intro to Sprint Paddling (ages 8-14)

2-week summer day camps where kids develop skills and confidence in smaller and faster flat water canoes and kayaks.

Kids paddle daily, building relationships with each other and with the aquatic environment.

Participants are introduced to sprint paddling, dragon boat and many fun off-water games and activities.

Paddlers have opportunities to participate in regattas to demonstrate their skills through community-oriented competitions!

Summer day camps run weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding statutory holidays.
Rainbow Paddle Day Camps (1 week):

* 4 days due to long weekend
Intro to Sprint Paddling Day Camps (2 weeks):

Summer Day Camps located at Cardiff Trout Pond in Sturgeon County, close to Morinville (5 mins), St. Albert (15 mins), Edmonton (30 mins) and Sherwood Park (30 mins)
